It might be cold and grey outside, but there’s still plenty going on in the city.
Here’s a quick list of things to do in Prague this weekend. If you’re lucky, you might even see The Prague Geezer at some of these places!
Where to eat? Makakiko Running Sushi
Dinner this weekend? I am in Sushi Mood. The newly refurbished shopping mall in Chodov has a great sushi restaurant and don’t hate me, but they even have French fries on the conveyer belt which I always grab. It might not be proper sushi, but I can’t have a meal without French fries. The rest of the food is real sushi and I am told it is superb.
Where to drink? Blah Blah Bar
Christmas was a bit mental for The Prague Geezer. Too much partying and too much spending, and I am sure it the same for many as December often is! But, I still like to enjoy myself so I will be attending Blah Blah Bar for some low-key drinking with friends. Reserve a table through their website and mention us on the form for a 10% discount.
Location: Zitna 41, Prague 1
Where to look? Men With Coconuts: The Improvised Musical!
Despite the odd sounding name, Men With Coconuts is a hilarious comedy act from the UK who regularly visit Prague and they are always a hit at the Prague Fringe festival. If you like comedy, and let’s face it, who doesn’t? You will love these guys and they always get the audience terrifyingly involved with their funny acts.
Location: The ACT Prague, Na Kralovce 437/7
Where to party? Bachata Magic Party – Pin-up Edition
Lucerna is the place to be on a Saturday and they have a special party lined up for this weekend. Description:
This time, together with Bachata Strictly Sensual, we will bring you to a place, which is special for Bachata Magic. Our party will take place at Galerie Lucerna, the venue, where the workshops of the Bachata Magic Festival took place. We prepared an interesting agenda for you with many international guests and DJs. As always, you can look forward to the super shows and a magical atmosphere.
Where to get some culture? National Museum
This weekend The Prague Geezer will be getting my weekly dose of culture in the form of some historical photographs from Prague Castle. I will be heading to the National Museum to take a look and see what it is all about.
